The Canterbury Tales

Acclaimed actors Tamara Hinchco and Tom Marshall will read from Chris Lauer's new, modern-English version of Geoffrey Chaucer's masterpiece, arguably the most influential single work in the English literary canon.

This entertaining selection of material will showcase the staggering generic and thematic breadth of Chaucer's work, as well as revealing the close proximity between our own, twenty-first-century proclivities and preoccupations and those of the Middle Ages.
