Brilliant

Brilliant is a visual theatre piece about light created by Young Vic associate company Fevered Sleep.

Award winning director David Harradine uses live music, inventive lighting, movement and rich theatricality to turn an everyday experience in a child's life into an extraordinary event.

Imagine it's bedtime. Imagine it's time to turn out the light. Imagine the moon outside, and the stars, bright. Imagine a forest of flickering torches, where the moon comes down to play. Imagine being in a place that is made of light. Imagine how brilliant that would be.

Brilliant is the final part of Fevered Sleep's trilogy of work for young audiences which includes Feast Your Eyes and And the Rain Falls Down. It was nominated for the 'Best Show for Children and Young People' TMA award 2008.

Fevered Sleep has been making theatre, installation and site-specific performance for audiences of all ages since 1996, and has won a reputation as leading innovators in theatre-making and visual arts projects for children.
