This powerful and immersive theatrical experience - from the company who created The Watery Part of the World (BAC) and Ether Frolics - is inspired by the tragic Russian submarine disaster of 2000.

Sound&Fury and playwright Bryony Lavery will explore the unique experience of submariners deep below the arctic seas - alone, highly trained, under orders - with Armageddon at their fingertips.

In consultation with former submariners and psychologists, they will conjure up an immersive theatrical experience that transports the audience to the confined underwater world of command and control, secrecy and codes, fear and camaraderie.
