Jeremy Hutchison

This event is in the past. This is an archive page for reference.

Jeremy Hutchison's work explores language and the ways in which we invest meaning in arbitrary forms and colours.

As artist-in-residence at the University Hospital Birmingham, he recently created Colourcodes - a new media process where young patients with cancer relate their experiences via abstract bands of colour.

Two works will be shown from this residency. Alongside these, the artist will create a site-specific installation built from the off-cuts of acrylic signmakers. Jeremy was also the winner of the 2008 Alexandra Reinhardt Award.
