Black & White focuses on the purity of drawing and printmaking and the relationship between modern conflict and graphic expression.
War and the circumstances surrounding conflict are rarely black and white, but this display reveals how the monochrome simplicity of drawing and printmaking has frequently conveyed the complexity and emotional power of conflict in a stark, effective manner.
The display exhibits 24 works from the Museum's Art collection, ranging from the First World War period to the present day including artists such as David Jones, Edward Wadsworth, Mary Kessell, Keith Vaughan and Colin Self.
