Come to More London Riverside at lunchtime on 19 July and get the latest tips on how to keep you and your belongings safe.

The London Bridge Business Improvement District Company, in a joint initiative with the Police, the Safer Southwark Partnership and More London, has organised an event by the fountains at More London Riverside to provide local workers with information and advice on public safety.

At the event you will be able to meet the Safer Neighbourhood Police Team, pick up information which could help prevent you from experiencing crime in London, offer input into what crime prevention initiatives you think might work, and collect useful kits such as cycle marking and personal safety alarms.

Sgt Jim Cole says: "This is a great opportunity for people working in the area to meet their local policing team and raise any concerns about crime and safety."

London is one of the safest cities in the world, but learning more about how to be safe will help to keep it that way - and could also win you a great prize.

The organisers offering the chance to win a three course meal with bottle of wine for two at Londinium Restaurant, in the four-star London Bridge Hotel, for all those people filling out a simple personal safety questionnaire.
