Baluji Shrivastav

Baluji is one of the greatest sitarists from India. He is also the only musician with solo album releases of Diruba (fretted fiddle) and Surbhar (bass sitar). Baluji's playing has been described as "lush and utterly fresh" (Scotsman 2007). His live performances are infused with a warmth and humour that help connect audiences (new and old alike) with Indian Classical Music. Baluji has worked across genres with a wide range of artists like Massive Attack, Jah Wobble.
