Neera Sen

New work by Neera Sen. Inspired by decorative objects such as textiles and Islamic tiles as well as by the urban and natural landscape, Sen uses oil on canvas to translate her sensations into "something fundamentally universal and irrevocable". Born in Calcutta, India, she studied in Calcutta and the Central School of Art (now Central St Martin's) in London. She lives and works in London. A regularly exhibiting artist, her work is in many private collections, both nationally and internationally.
