Savile Row and the history of tailoring

This event is in the past. This is an archive page for reference.

Along with Petticoat Lane, Portobello Road, King's Road and Carnaby Street, Savile Row must be one of London's most famous streets. Interestingly, all these streets have a connection with clothing and fashion. Savile Row, however, is surely the crown prince of them all.

A panel of Savile Row insiders - from Managing Directors to apprentices - will discuss the history of the street that has become the epitome of elegant menswear and bespoke tailoring. How have the Savile Row businesses managed to adapt to modern times while also protecting their bespoke traditions, workshops and tailors?
