To commemorate the 65th anniversary of D-Day and celebrate her role in the landings, HMS Belfast is hosting a week of D-Day events.

Actors will bring to life tales from D-Day, visitors will be called to 'action stations' as the ship prepares for attack from enemy fire.

They will witness damage control sessions as well as Royal Navy style punishments.

Children under 16 can dress up as crew members and a series of dramatic 4-inch gun drills will be carried out during the day.
