Rigged

A new play by Ashmeed Sohoye.

Nathan has been excluded from school, and spends his days in arcades and picking fights in the street.

But now he has been given an ASBO banning him from the town centre, whilst his girlfriend Sarah wants to go on to study further with dreams of independence in a wider world.

They are both made to re-assess their options when Sarah falls pregnant and they have to ask what it is that they really want out of life.

Are they heading in the same direction?

Can the two of them escape their background of dysfunctional families, and maybe start a family of their own, or is “the system” stacked against them?
