Tim Shaw: The Mackerel

Tim Shaw graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2005 and currently lives and works as an artist in London.

He creates mixed media assemblages from materials such as Edwardian postcards of pin-ups, fish taxidermy, silicone and wax, to explore the physical and cultural make-up of individuals, and the possibilities of manipulating them to be more excessive or ambiguous.

He will be exhibiting his fish taxidermy, drawings and collages, based on the early Picasso drawing, The Mackerel, as well as his photographic and map-making pieces.
