Nathan The Wise, the influential play by GE Lessing about the relationship of Christianity, Judaism and Islam, in a new translation by Rick Jones. Performed by a cast of actors from Shakespeare's Globe, directed by Giles Block.

The central character is a thinly-veiled impersonation of Moses Mendelssohn, the grandfather of the composer, Felix Mendelssohn. 'Grandfather' Mendelssohn is known as the founder of the modern Jewish enlightenment.
