Piccadilly Revisited

An outdoor showing of the 1929 classic British movie Piccadilly, starring the Chinese American actress Anna May Wong, in the dramatic setting of the Royal Festival Hall.

As part of the Thames Festival, Chinatown Arts Space presents the film with a live performance of a new contemporary score, composed by Ruth Chen and Suki Mok.

The performance incorporates voice and drama highlighting aspects of the life and role of Anna May Wong, in a concept designed and performed by writers David Tse Ka-Shang and Alice Lee.
