Summer Delights

Work from the Paintings in Hospitals collection including pieces by the internationally renowned artist Elizabeth Blackadder.

Summer Delights is in association with the National Disability Arts Collection and Archive who have lent work by the artists Tony Heaton, Matt Burgess, Adam Reynolds and Caroline Cardus.

Paintings in Hospitals is an organisation which places art within health organisations, helping to enhance the healing environment for patients, staff and care givers. The charity now lends artwork to over 250 NHS hospitals, hospices and other healthcare facilities across England, Wales and Ireland with the support of volunteers who run 5 regional branches.

Over 2,000 artists are represented in the loan collection which now includes photographs, textiles and collages as well as drawings, watercolours and oil paintings.
