Celebrating the 400th anniversary of the publication of the most important sonnet sequence in the English language, The Milton Consort select some of Shakespeare's greatest sonnets and intersperse the passionate, meditative and glorious poems with beautiful music played on Elizabethan theorbo/lute, flutes, recorders, bagpipes, and bone whistle.

The Milton Consort, Peter Hamilton Dyer, Keith McGowan and Arngeir Hauksson, have all been performers at the Globe over many seasons.
