Sarah Ruhl's Eurydice made great waves in New York. Now this vivid re-imagining of the Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, makes its European premiere in a co-production between the Young Vic, ATC and the Drum Theatre Plymouth.

Bijan Sheibani, fresh from his acclaimed National Theatre debut Our Class, is reunited with the team who created the award-winning The Brothers Size.

Eurydice loves Orpheus. Her dead father's letters of advice for her wedding aren't reaching the land of the living. She crashes down a flight of stairs and wakes in the underworld, her memory wiped. How will she ever get home...?

Alice in Wonderland meets Greek mythology; Eurydice is a playful and heart-breaking take on a timeless tale of grief and redemption.
The cast includes Osi Okerafor (Othello, RSC) and Ony Uhiara who returns to the Young Vic where she recently played Oya in In the Red and Brown Water.
