Curated by multi-media artist Carsten Nicolai, this year's Parallel Voices series features internationally renowned composers and musicians, choreographers and dancers, curators and scientists. Focussing on the Missing Link between different art genres and science, each evening presents a one-off performance and a talk with the artists.

Alongside the events, Carsten Nicolai presents a specially commissioned large scale light installation, monitor, consisting of custom made neon tubes. Conceived to create a link between the inside and outside of the building, it will be mounted on the façade, its light play communicating movement and sound. Nicolai's monitor will be available to view from 17 March to 11 April 2010.

This latest series of Parallel Voices continues Siobhan Davies' mission to bring artists from all disciplines with fresh ideas and new patterns of thinking into her Studios. Creating dialogue and exchanges between artists who might not otherwise meet has become a regular fixture in the Siobhan Davies Studios calendar, and this has proved a hit with audiences – previous Parallel Voices series have been curated by Jonathan Burrows (2007) and Isaac Julien (2008).
