What the Dickens! at Little Dorrit Park

Come and celebrate the unveiling of the Little Dorrit Park improvements.

• Make Victorian toys
• Play traditional games
• Listen to stories
• Get your face painted

...and there might even be a personal appearance by Charles Dickens himself.

The children have been responsible for the planning as well as being involved in the design of the new playground.

Of special interest is the beautiful new wrought iron gate set into the original wall at the back of the park. The gate has been designed by local school children, with a little help from metal sculptor, Heather Burrell, in a style to commemorate the novel, Little Dorrit.
