On 20 April 1949 HMS Amethyst was steaming up the Yangtse River when she was attacked by the guns of a Chinese Communist shore battery on the north bank.
Join the Naval Wargame Society as they recreate the dramatic events of the ship's break out in a strategic game with scale models
