An evening of live music, film and performance featuring The Spanner Jazz Punks , Exploding Cinema, London Folk and The Other Energies plus more tbc

Spanner Jazz Punks inject quality madness into the entertainment machine, merging high-octane performances with a mind-mangling display of musicianship, captivating audiences with a seductive extravaganza of funked-up Anarcho-Gallic swing.

Exploding Cinema have been hosting events and screenings across London for many years and will be bring their unique blend of film, video and performance for the first time to Elefest.

London Folk: Murder, mercy, monsters and music
For those who missed John Constable's 'Southwark Mysteries' in Southwark Cathedral there will be an opportunity to catch him in a much more intimate setting as part of an evening celebrating London's folklore.

Full-voiced singer and song-collector Sam Lee from The Magpie's Nest (winners of BBC folk club of the year 2010) takes care of the traditional London music while Nigel of Bermondsey's 'London Dreamtime' will be performing haunting songs and stories about monsters in the Blitz and the Museum of London's storyteller Olivia Armstrong will resurrect some of London's eerie hidden history.

Laura Fudge, singer, song-writer and Aylesbury Estate resident, presents a session of lyrical, harmonic and rhythmic explorations alongside new trio The Other Energies featuring the jazz pianist marvellous Martin Weightman, Acoustic Ladyland electric bass wiz Ruth Goller and salsa and jazz percussion maestro Jim le Messurier.
