Artist Feliks Topolski created a 600 ft-long mural that snakes its way around three railway arches. It draws heavily on the artist's own first-hand experience of many of the key moments in 20th century history and politics.

Situated on the main walking route from Waterloo Station to the Royal Festival Hall, thousands of people pass its doors each year without realising what lies behind the doors.

Plans are now in place to revive this neglected attraction. en
