Not sure how coomon they are, though I don't think I've ever seen one in London. They are generally kept by enthusiasts so this one must have escaped from somewhere. They will inter breed with feral pigeons in the wild so the colouring will be lost. They're attractive birds and nice to have around.

Thrushes if you're up early enough. Pretty shy creatures, but I'm surprised nobody else has mentioned them.

Has anyone else clicked on the linked ad in this thread? A company trading in oriental birds nests! I'm not sure it's going to be the best placed ad for their trade really ... !
