Well you don't let the grass grow, James :p

I watched it and enjoyed it, up to a point - nice to see more of the locality, although the Gherkin etc seem to be in every other TV 'drama' these days.

I am 'reliably informed' that the series gets better....

I enjoyed it - a change from reality programs and 'talent' contests

Thought 1st episode was a little weak - but a mate who works on the show said it was not their best, and ep 2 is meant to be better.

"Arfur Dailey - a little dodgy maybe - but underneath? - he's all right is Arfur"[/quote]

Classic! I had the record on 7 inch ha-ha!

Didn't think much of the 1st episode, will keep watching though, if only for the locations.

I thought it was OK. But there was a better film on the other day about someone being murdered by Tower bridge. Cant remember the name of the film but it had a good use of location.

that film was called "The innocent sleep"

I agree.
I have a problem with that way of shooting London, its not an exiting alternative view of London,
It misses what London is really like, I found that with that flood drama as well, The tower bridge shopping centre didn't even exist, and was just an excuse for a cheep set,
I also, noticed in minder the building they were in at the end has been used in the Bill.

Minder is made by talkbackThames who also make The Bill.
