Hey everyone. I moved to the area at the weekend with my boyfriend and I'm on the search for a decent gym, or also somewhere to do pilates/yoga/dance classes... I've seen a thread about 37degrees which doesn't sound promising. I'm checking out fitness first but there are no prices! I wondered if the hilton on tooley st would do gym memberships? Anyway if anyone knows of anything let me know please - preferably around london bridge/tower bridge/tooley st area.

Cheers!

There are numerous previous threads on this - Soho Gyms at Borough gets good reviews generally and does good classes, 37 degrees seems to get very poor reviews in tems of its financial practices and inconsistent facility management/staffing, there is always Nuffield (formerly Cannons)City which is just on the north side of the river (under Cannon Bridge) and this is generally regarded as the best gym in the City for classes and facilities from what I gather. I have no knowledge of Fitness First of the TopNotch options
