Has anyone noticed that dingy park near St Thomas is being completely ripped up and revamped! How fab. I used to dread walking through it in the dark (it's an excellent shortcut on the walk to London Bridge). The plans are to make it look pretty and more importantly well lit with a decent pathway. Another small step in the right direction for SE1!
Its on Weston Street, further down from Champor towards Long Lane, opposite side. There was a temporary notice pre excavation announcing a meeting and asking for local attendance to discuss ideas. That's obviously been superceded now.
Coincidentally I've just had an email about it from the Pool of London Partnership. It's called Guy Street Park - see this page for more information.
