Hi all

I'm looking for a space a could rehearse a play with 2 actors.

I've tried a few community centres/churches/pubs in the Waterloo area but with no luck so far unfortunately. Happy to look anywhere south or indeed north of the river just not too tricky to get to..

I only need something for a couple of hours at a time a couple of times a week.

Only thing is there's no money involved in this so I'd be looking for something at no charge.

Any space would do, it just needs to be large enough for 3 people to work.

Can anyone help, any suggestions?

You could try the Bermondsey Village Hall, in Leathermarket Gardens. They may make a nominal charge, but it's a well kept space with kitchen and loos - and a car park. I don't have the telephone number, but Southwark Council's website may well have - or Google it :P

Be interested to know more about it - as a former Theatre Manager/would-be-actor [that's bro's department].

Break a leg!

The Duthy Hall springs to mind, on Great Guildford St. Good enough for Mike Leigh!

Thank you for these suggestions, I'll check them out...
