JeandePierre: I wasn't using puncture repairs as "an example on which to base an opinion of a shop's abilities and prices". I was just letting people know what work I'd had done at different places, and how I felt about the results. I explained that I'd had other work done at both LBRS and Druid.
Oh, and I'll thank you neither to lecture me about what work I "should" do myself, nor to assume that I don't know how to repair a puncture. I'm capable of baking my own bread, but I choose to do so very rarely.

Is Pedal It any good does anyone know? It's at the junction of Borough Road and Newington Causeway.

It may have shut down since I last passed by.

I've probably had the worst experience and service ever with Evans. They are arrogant and patronising in the shop. They get their less than experience staff to work on bikes, don't apologise when they get things wrong and never seem to think that the customer might be right.

James B must work for Evans because I would NEVER recommend them.

I would avoid Evans cycles at London Bridge. They ruined my gear system and then accused me of tampering with it when i took it back. All I did was take it in for a service. Everythnig was working well prio to their handywork. Cant speak for any of thier other outlets.
My vote goes to 'On your bike'.

TOTALLY agree with Rash - I had exactly the same experience!!!!
