thats a very modest sum love, is it for a second hand one? the heart shop in old kent may have one. But unless space is an issue or you only have a tiny amount of washing I would look around for one of each...:-)

Does anyone know if the BHF take smaller items, like hairdryers and blenders? I have some to donate, but want to take them somewhere that does electrical checks, like BHF does (not cos' I'm trying to get rid of anything dangerous btw, but lots of places don't take electrical stuff as they can't do the checks).

Good luck on your washing machine search, it's a nightmare being without one.

They come up on Freecycle sometimes. Washing machines more than washer-dryers though.
