I think we were on the correct side of the pitch - one of the players said they had rented the whole pitch and we could expand over the whole pitch and kick the other guys out if we wanted to. I was the tall guy in the AC Milan top with the blue football we used when the other one got kicked out of the pitch.

There was a guy on my team with an Argentina top on. The people I spoke to were not sure who had posted on the forum but they thought it was a guy called Henry?

Hi James,

We have officially booked Pitch A, so the guys info about extending the pitch was incorrect. Pitch A is reserved specifically for local organisations, and as part of Riverside Parents we were able to book the pitch at a good rate.

Hope to get you on a free transfer in the coming weeks!

Strange. Well please arrange a meeting point for someone to greet the forum posters next week to avoid more confusion! Thanks.

I was there as well... and played with apparently the wrong team too, ha. I was the guy with the black t-shirt with puma in orange at the front.

So close yet so far! Anyway do feel free to mosey on over to the other pitch and join us next week or any other week. Drop me a line if you want to go on our mailing list, so we can update you on numbers and any other info.

We have had a good response so far (fully booked this week) but email me your email address so we can get you on our mailing list for future weeks.

Hi,

Just moved into the area, looking to start playing football again, your age group / ability sounds perfect to me, do you still need players?

I used to have reasonable ability, probably better at the banter and socialising these days!

I'm happy to commit to play regularly or ad-hoc.

Kind regards

Tim

Hi there,

I'd be interested in playing too!! Are there spaces tonight?

Looks like you've got lots of interest! I live nearby if you need people at short notice.

My email is matthew at touchyfinger dot com

Please put me on your mailer.

Many thanks and hopefully see you on the pitch!

Matthew
