I am amazed that no-one has commented here on the latest developments in the Wicked saga...

James, the wicked saga was before I got here...where can I find the history? I'd like to know what the saga was about..

I can't say that I find the prospect of a lap dancing venue much more or less attractive than any of the activities alleged to have occurred at Club Wicked.

In all this did we ever find out who the ground landlord of this site is, and what covenants exist on use of the vaults?

Given the site's location under London Bridge Approach, could it belong to the City's Bridge House Estates Trust

Surely they can't be benefitting from all of this troglodyte debauchery???

I would have thought there was more sense relocating the wine bar on the other (north) side of the Tooley Street arch into the vaults currently occupied by Wicked if the family-friendly London Bridge Museum proposed for the space between Tooley Street and the river ever happens.

The story in last week's Southwark News also suggested that Mark Bambridge is planning to apply for a casino licence.

Just around the corner from Club Wicked's premises is the London Dungeon. In the window of their shop are souvenir items celebrating Jack the Ripper (including 'blood stained' t-shirts). The ripper carried his attacks on women just minutes walk from Tooley Street; how on earth can people complain about consenusal activities in Club Wicked while the London Dungeon is profiteering from a serial rapist and murderer/mutilator?

Its a strange world...

Have a look at

They are still planning to hold a fetish party on 6th March - just under a different name.

Although I do not object to fetish parties I think that there is more going on with the change of name and new licencee that meets the eye.

After all the landlord/leaseholder stays the same.
