Hi all,

A request from one of our local Safer Neighbourhood Team officers, PC Lee Simmons.

This Saturday (7th of Nov), he along with about 80 ex-Royal Marine Commandos who are now all serving police officers, are going to run a 13 mile speed march in combats, boots, and green berets, through central London for charity. It will be a high profile event with the PM & usual hoard of media attending. They are raising money for Royal Marine Commandos who have been injured in Afghanistan so they can purchase aids and prosthetics etc.

I'm sure that Lee & the RMA (Royal Marines Association) would be greatly appreciate any support we can give them. If you'd like to participate, please remember to choose Gift Aid as this will enable the charity to receive an extra 28% at no cost to you. Donations can be made anonymously on the site if you wish & are tax deductable. PLEASE NOTE - Donations need to be made by this Friday (6th of Nov).

Many thanks,
