I agree about Shad on Tooley Street it is fab - I never manage to eat all my vegetable balti but I make an exception here. I even wipe the bowl with the naan bread. What a pig - but a happy one!

Also Kennington Tandoori is pretty brilliant - very fresh food, all the vegetables clean and bright and they do the best mint tea ever.

And Cafe Nawaz in Snowsfields and Southbank Tandoori on the Cut a worth a mention too. Ooh I'm hungry now!

Shad on Tooley Street gets my vote too. Consistently delicious food and has been since it opened under the original name of Shard Tandoori.

Masala Dubba on Trinity St for delivery - great food, nice dudes. Highly recommend the coconut cashew rice and mango chicken. I'm pretty sure I saw it recommended somewhere on this forum - thanks to whoever it was, an awesome recommendation.

Recently discovered Tower Tandoori and AMAZED by how yummy it is and seems to be high quality food. Some lovely slightly unusual options ie butternut squash, courgette that are tasty and not swimming in oil. Delicious pilau and the Tandoori paneer starter with chickpeas is delicious. V good value for the quality. No connection, just a new but already loyal and happy customer!
