You should try the Continental Cafe then. Leckey and her husband run it. It's very busy during the day and she will make it as spicy/hot as you like it. My sister lived in Thailand for 12 years and thinks it's pretty darn authentic.

I see that Bangkok Kitchen people from Union Street have set up shop in an old van in front of the London Bridge Post Office.
