Day time thefts on the increase on Tanner St... How can CCTV be secured for flat blocks that do not have porters? Is it common for the police to do nothing to help? Are all management companies useless? Anyone know of a good one? Thoughts, insight, advice. Are other blocks being broken into off of Tanner St, Tower Bridge Road, Bermondsey St, City Walk, etc?

police are only interested in shoplifting and only then when the thieves are being held. Absolutely hopeless. Sorry to hear you've been burgled.

We spotted a couple of young men in Hatfields,by Southwark Station, who appeared to be gaining entry into three different blocks' entrances on Saturday morning ,seemingly with the use of a key issued to emergency services. They had a car parked haphazardly and one was the'look out'.We called the police, but the men disappeared before their arrival and unfortunately we couldn't read their registration plate. They were caucasian, very short hair,in their 20s,wearing drab, unmemorable jackets and gloves. And no,they weren't from British Gas,Orange or anything else bona fide, they said that they were looking for no.24 when challenged.Mmmmmmmm.
