The land between Deverell st and Harper road will be redeveloped very soon , the proposals from the MOSAIC housing association are: two large 7 floors builings and a number of smaller structures that will take the totality of the green spaces available for the children to play in. this development will tower over a large number of flats removing signifiquantly the quality of sunlight for the occupent of Symington house and Falmouth rd residents removing all source of sunlight in they back yards and balconies, towering, over the Globe accademy as well. They will be the arrival of a large numbers of children as in our estate they is no facility at all to play at the moment for the large children population Harper rd Falmouth rd and Deverell street already have, where will the new ones amuses themself?
Beside they wont be any space left to do any thing about it any ways. We will have a meeting on the 29 of June in the foyer of Symington house at 18.00 hrs or 6 PM. I and other tenants are afraid that peoples will just pass by the opportunity to venture in opposing the project as general apathy seem to be in power in Symingthon house. Some of us are concerned and worry.
