Hi there :)

Does anyone know what that god-awful racket was in the Tabard Street area, for most of the afternoon of Saturday 10 July, and into the evening? Was there an open-air event of some kind? The most annoying amplified soft R&B going on and on and on for hours, so loud I was forced to choose between having my windows open (and not being able to hear the radio) or sitting in the stifling heat with them shut.

Ok, I've got that off my chest now. But it's not the first time this has happened.

It was an event to mark the second anniversary of the murder of local teenager David Idowu.
