I have just moved into the area and I am looking for a fish mongers outside expensive Borough market where i can buy really fresh fish, especially tuna. Can anyone help me?

May be best to try Tesco OKR they have a fresh fish counter.

there used to be a place where you could buy fish,oysters,etc. toulmin street at the borough, looks like a factory.

or the fish stall down the Blue, or East Lane...

Saturdays from 10.00 to 14.00 at Bermondsey Farmer's Market in Bermondsey Square.

Aberdeen Sea Products on Toumlin Street, off Great Suffolk Street, they are very nice and will also order stuff for you. They keep slightly odd hours though, usually shutting around 12pm but opening around 4 or 5 in the morning.

Not sure about tuna, but there is a good fishmongers on East Street...

I do not like supermarkets and prefer to buy from small shops but thank you anyway.

Aberdeen is good trade outlet, can get just about anything for you, get in early for excellent choice.

Thank you all for your help, I popped into aberdeen sea products and got some excellent tuna. It was early in the morning but worth it, I think next time I will order by phone.
