Seriously, when is it going to run out of fuel? Seems like 3 or 4 hours its been hovering above my flat. Is there anywhere official to send complaints?

Yes the helicopter was very annoying tonight. Don't quite understand why it's necessary to have a helicopter circling overhead to police the movement of some fire engines.
Thanks to SE1 folk for reporting on the strike.

Not just Borough! Waterloo/Southbank.
I have tried the Civil Aviation Authority. City Hall (most unhelpful).

You can view their document:

Report Number: 8

It still won't tell you who to complain to or who is responsible!

Thanks James, I found your(?) twitter account and followed the action there :)

I'm all for supporting the fire crews so I won't be complaining even though helos were not nessecary

I think in this case, the person who is responsible is Brian Coleman MLA (chair of the London Fire Brigade Authority). The helicopters were there to allow the police to protect the scab 'firefighters' that the LFBA have brought in from a private firm that richly (though legally) rewards those who do it favours.

I noticed it the other day too, it was really loud. My kids were fascinated though.

I can not believe how inconsiderate these helicopter pilots are.
Why could they not fly above the Heygate or Aylesbury do they have to hover above our flats?
I would never have moved to SE1 if I thought that any emergency vehicles would be allowed near my home.
Except that is if I call them. (Then I want the whole lot to turn up if I am burgled and get my DVD player back ASAP)
