Hi there

We are conducting a short survey of people's use of cafes and restaurants in a particular area of SE1: the area bounded by Waterloo, Lambeth North, Elephant & Castle, Borough and Southwark tube stations.

The survey will take no more than a couple of minutes and is available here:

Please feel free to forward a link to the survey to anyone you think might be able to help.

Many thanks for your help!

The area of interest is covered by the map below:,-4.064941&sspn=13.835858,39.331055&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=London+SE1,+United+Kingdom&ll=51.500448,-0.104735&spn=0.007106,0.02738&z=16&pw=2

We are conducting an independent market research project on eating out trends in the specific part of SE1 mentioned. The data is solely for our internal use and will not be given or sold on to anyone else.

Hope that answers your question.

We would like to have around 100 responses to get a good sample and would be very grateful for any help with this.

But who are "we" and what is your "internal use"?

At the moment, we are a very small, informal market research group based in SE1. As stated, the internal use is to assess eating out trends in the specific part of SE1 mentioned. What the next steps are really depend on the results of the survey.

The survey is hosted by well-known third-party provider Survey Monkey. The survey does not ask for any personal contact details except an email address, but you do not have to provide this information to take part. We are very happy to receive anonymous responses but please try to answer as honestly as you can.

We can't really provide much more information at this stage as it is so early in the process that there is not much else to add plus we don't want to prejudice the results of the survey.

Hope this helps. We would really like to get as many responses as we can, but of course you do not have to take part if you do not want to.

Thanks for your help and thanks to everyone who has taken the time to complete the survey so far.

Its a cheaper way of getting information out of people. Most companies use focus groups and pay people to provide information about specific things.
