Did anyone else see the two base jumpers at midnight last night as the fireworks were going off? Not 100% sure but it looked like they were jumping off Guy's tower. Very bizarre to see a couple of parachutes apppear against the backdrop of the London Eye firestorm!

I saw them as well.

From where we were they came around the back of Guy's tower so wasn't sure if they came off the top of Guy's or the Shard....

Just that time when one needed a camera to hand !!

we thought they must've jumped off the shard.

My guess is that would have been the prime target.

Worrying level of security at the Shard then.
Wish I'd seen them though.

Pretty sure they jumped from the Shard. Happened to inadvertently catch one of them in this shot.

Since everyone else is doing it I'll have to pop up there next week. It shames me that I didn't even think of exploring the possibility of giving it a go, I used to wander around empty buildings in my younger days.

Note to security: coffee, milk, no sugar.

Same here, Just need to put on my work boots, hi viz vest and hardhat and I'll be straight to the top. Won't be jumping off though
