Appearance of Grange Road SE1

Hi All

Just wanted to start a thread discussing peoples opinions on the appearance of Grange Road. Personally I think it looks a little untidy and is lacking in floral decoration. What do you think? Any suggestions as to how we can improve the look of this road and give it more character? How do you feel when you walk down this road?

Well, it's not looking great at the moment with the roadworks going on, but hopefully they'll be finished soon.
there are hanging baskets of flowers on lamp-posts, but they are so high up they are all but invisible.
Personally I think it has plenty of character - the mixture of types of building - Victorian terraces, modern flats, make it interesting.

first of all need to demolish and develop those empty ugly warehouse buildings and that open space opposite (think there used to be a garage there?)...i think plans are underway to do so. will be a whole load better then...think it has the potential to be an interesting road too.
