Hi everyone

Just wondered if anyone knew of any vintage markets happening in SE1. There is loads going on North of the river or Dulwich way - but other than the antiques market, I can't find anything around here. Any ideas would be greatfully recieved.

Alternatively, if people would be interested in getting something like this off the ground (especially other vintage sellers), I'd be happy to hear from you. Perhaps we could get something started?

I can only think of a couple of shops in Lower March - Radio Days and What the Butler Saw - both very good but more shops/markets would be great.

It might be worth popping into Bermondsey Fayre on Bermondsey Street too.

Thanks for all your help everyone.

Sabine, my email is [email protected] Maybe we could have a chat about putting something together? It could be worth approaching Bermondsey Fayre like Emzie suggested as I know they do crafty type events.

If anyone else has any suggestions, please let me know. I really appreciate it!

Sorry to be such a klutz, but what exactly is a Vintage Market?

It's not a silly question. Basically, a vintage market could sell clothing, books, jewellery, fabrics, lace, linen, furniture, plates, tea cups collectables, accessories - all sorts really. Quite often these days they also include people selling handmade and or crafted items.

Hope that helps!
