Just wondered if anyone knew of any vintage markets happening in SE1. There is loads going on North of the river or Dulwich way - but other than the antiques market, I can't find anything around here. Any ideas would be greatfully recieved.
Alternatively, if people would be interested in getting something like this off the ground (especially other vintage sellers), I'd be happy to hear from you. Perhaps we could get something started?
Sabine, my email is [email protected] Maybe we could have a chat about putting something together? It could be worth approaching Bermondsey Fayre like Emzie suggested as I know they do crafty type events.
If anyone else has any suggestions, please let me know. I really appreciate it!
It's not a silly question. Basically, a vintage market could sell clothing, books, jewellery, fabrics, lace, linen, furniture, plates, tea cups collectables, accessories - all sorts really. Quite often these days they also include people selling handmade and or crafted items.
Fascinating! I have a beautiful orange philips t.v the space helmet type, it's not very old about 28 years, some sanderson fabric with the date of manufacture actually on the selvedge, 1967, unless the m ice have got to it! a dress that i squeezed into 1972...a American war dress and shoes...must have a sort out then find a local market...
