The Manna Day Centre near Guy's Hospital are always grateful for household items - see for contact details. Disclaimer: I am not associated with them in any way.

BHF are amazing - they will come round and collect for free and manage to do it on weekends within a week or so of enquiry. Highly rate the team of volunteers at that shop.

Can anyone suggest a charity shop which might want a whole load of old clothes, CDs, electrical items, pictures etc in the London Bridge/Bermondsey Street/Old Kent Road kind of area...? We have a load of stuff to give away, so any suggestions gratefully received.

Not quite the area you mentioned but on the Walworth Road there are quite a few charity shops that are always pleased to receive stuff. They are all, I think, on the east side more or less just past East Street.
