I wasn't planning on venturing out for the royal wedding (except perhaps into the garden to do a bit of royal weeding), but I now have a friend visiting who is keen to soak up a bit of the wedding festival atmosphere. Does anyone have ay suggestions?

I'm thinking that anywhere close to the procession route will be crazily busy, but I wondered about the south bank - does anyone know if there will be more than usual going on there? What about elsewhere in SE1?

I don't know. I was hoping to avoid it completely by hiding at the in-laws in Greece..... However we have to fly back that evening so may unfortunately catch some of it. Better keep the TV and radio unplugged.

Quite a trying day for Republicans.
