I was trying to find something more but no luck. Did however try the Delaunay over at Aldywich the other day and will give that 5 stars!

Haven't seen any activity there recently but listed only yesterday as one of the top five restaurants opening in 2012 - doesn't say when though...

If it's the building numbered 207 then something is happening in there.

You know how it is around here, you go on holiday for 2 weeks and come back to find someone has opened an award winning restaurant, hosted several royals and Hollywood stars and had a food poisoning outbreak, while you were sunning yourself in Skeggy.

Agree with ChloeB on Delauany. Good service, food as described, amazing what they have done with an office, but not cheap. Beware.

The Delaunay Counter - which is the takeaway or sit down cafe next door has 50% off at the moment whilst they train the staff. None of the grandeur of the restaurant next door but a very economical way to sample some of the fantastic pastries they do. They also serve breakfast - well worth a visit in the next few days - I did ask when the 50% deal would finish but it hasn't been not decided yet so be quick!

Just wondering if anyone’s heard anything more about this? I’d read somewhere that it was due to open in February but no sign of anything yet...

A planning application has just been submitted for the Great Suffolk Street facade.

As for the Delaunay .. I didn't think it was that expensive. I usually have a Pretzel, the Chicken Soup (which is simple but one of the best offerings I have had in London so far) and dessert. I am usually out of there for £20 ... now admittedly it could get very very pricy but I guess I am a cheap date ;)

The planning application has been approved - see the documents for a few clues as to what it will be like
