Squeaky chains are a charity providing employment for ex rough sleepers, so they just might not have someone who can do websites.

If you want experienced in Brompton then probably on Your Bike on Tooley Street, they are expensive but their staff do know what they are on about. Druid are more have a go and see what they can do, and that can be better or worse depending on what the thing is they are trying to fix. Perhaps you should ask On Your Bike, and if it's too dear or they say it can't be done, have a go with Druid Cycles, I've found them very willing to try.

Sounds awful, they were probably mainly snatching bags and thought they'd hit the jackpot. Bromptons are very well built so I hope you resurrect it.

Do you know which direction they went in after leaving Bermondsey Street? They may have been caught on CCTV.

Hi James,

Am just back from holiday... Yes, a belated answer to your question: they drove off down Tanner St.

It would seem that my house insurance has a very good repair/replacement service for which I just have to pay the excess - not cheap but certainly less than any repair job would cost me - though I have yet to actually have that happen. The good thing is that in theory they come and collect it - great as I don't have a car.

I suspect that the paper didn't take it up - anyone read it?
