Has anyone else noticed the lack of a council/City Hall effort to clean up following the huge influx of people to the South Bank on NYE. I have no problem with the area being the focus of big events but still, as of Tuesday evening, the pavements around where I live in Waterloo are littered with broken glass, empty bottles and smashed glasses. Walking around yesterday it was like a war zone. It strikes me that the organisers of these huge events are like teenagers who want the party but haven't thought about the cleanup afterwards. I've emailed City Hall environment folks but perhaps this is a Lambeth problem?

I think it is Lambeth, and I'm surprised as they normally clean up quite well after events like this.

You should email one of the councillors and ask them to raise it, send a couple of photos as well.
