Sounds (and looks) like a helicopter is hovering around the Shard-ish area with a spotlight?

Anyone know what's going on/down?

There's one hovering over Shad Thames altough facing Wapping. Grrr, can't work because of the noise.

I was simply suggesting a useful communication tool for local services, which in this instance would keep you informed on the activities of the police helicopter.

A life and Twitter are not mutually exclusive.

And for anyone who might have been upset in Barnet at approximately 0545, I've just been informed they were on proactive burglary patrol.
