My dad, now 92, was born on 20th December 1919 and baptised Henry Leonard (Len) Tull. His mother's maiden name was 'Wood' and he had two brothers David and John. The family lived in Layard Road and moved out of the area before WW2 kicked off. My Grandfather, (also Henry) worked at James Jackson's in Major Road; the factory closed before the Jubilee Line arrived. Dad also ended up at Jacksons until he retired 30 years ago.
Can someone tell me the name of the nearest Anglican church at that time as I guess this is where he was baptised. Also, if there are any photos out there of that specific locality for the period I'd be grateful to know about them.
